To get a better idea of what to expect from working with me, here are some of the common questions my couples have asked me in the past.

  • From our first phone call until the day I deliver your albums and beyond, I’m easily accessible, and right by your side. On your wedding day, I’m your tour guide and a trusted friend.

    My couples are people, not ‘numbers’. I get to know you, what inspires you, what makes your relationship unique, and the details about your wedding day that are most special to you. This yields artistic, personal, storytelling imagery that your hearts will connect to.

    I wear many hats…I handle every single phone call, email, and text personally. I plan our day-of timeline with you (you’ll see more about that below).

    I alone hand-edit every single image for consistency. This includes color correction, polishing, and adding my special sauce that drew you to me in the first place.

  • Connection is everything! I’d love to spend some time with you so we can get a good vibe for each other.

    Plus, a little secret...you'll most likely get an impromptu 5-minute photoshoot. Test drives are a great thing, right :) ? You'll get to experience how I instantly put you at ease in front of the camera and capture the real, candid yet connected, unposed you!

  • I actually send THREE FULL WEDDING galleries to every new couple that contacts me.

  • With All-Day coverage…it’s whatever works to tell your Love Story best. When me meet, I learn about the details of your day, like if you’re having a first look, ceremony time, reception end time, etc. I then show you my vision of how it can all lay out.

    Once we book, you receive my timeline questionnaire that will help us plan for and understand each moment of your special day. This lets you sleep well at night, knowing that I’ll show up fully prepared.

  • I sort through thousands of images one at a time, removing any blinks, multiples, test shots, etc. Your gallery includes all of the best, storytelling moments, not 5,000 images for you to labor through. Every wedding is different, and it depends on the total hours coverage, and the size of your guest list. I’ve delivered 650 images for smaller weddings, and I’ve delivered 1,400 for larger weddings. 800-1000 images are where most weddings usually land.

  • Talk about image security, I’ve got you covered! I show up with multiple cameras that all have 2 card slots. Every click of the shutter is written to Card A and Card B. When I get home, everything is backed up to multi locations, not directly on my computer. Yes, I am insured. If your venue needs to be added as an ‘additional insured’ on my Certificate of Insurance, that’s not a problem at all!

  • Every single storytelling photo is yours. Your high-resolution wedding photos are delivered to you via a one-click download through your own custom online gallery. By definition, the copyright holder is the person who clicks the shutter. Uncle Sam says the copyright stays with me. The great news is that you have full printing and personal rights. That means you can print, post to social media, and share with friends and family. The only thing you can’t do is profit from my work, such as publishing, selling, or supplying your wedding photos to others who intend to publish or use the images for advertising purposes.   • I’ve shot in the sun, moonlight, rain, and snow. We can shoot outdoors with umbrellas or we can search out interesting spots indoors at your venue.

  • Officially, 8-12 weeks (although I typically deliver WAY sooner). If I’m in the middle of a busy wedding season, it can be a little crazy, so I like to offer you realistic delivery schedule. You will see sneak previews way earlier, and may also get a sneak-peek blog post on my website & social media (and you can share it, too!)
