Greek Orthodox Baptism at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Church Holmdel, New Jersey and Stamna Greek Taverna Lincroft, NJ

I was recently invited to capture the memories of a very special and meaningful time in the life of one precious young girl and her family.
The baptism was held at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Holmdel, NJ.
Many family members came from near and far to witness the ceremony, to share their love, and some to even take part.
The rituals included the changing of clothes, anointing with oil, haircutting, and so much more.

Being able to observe and capture the moments, the emotions, and most of all the love; this is what I honestly enjoy the most.
After the ceremony, after the family portraits, we ventured to Stamna Greek Taverna in Lincroft, NJ where I was invited to dine on the most amazingly delicious authentic Greek food while still capturing memories.
All in all, I felt like family. I cannot tell you the emotions I feel when being so close to all the action. It's my job to hone in on what's most important, what evokes the most meaningful things to capture. And by doing so, I really do have the best seat in the house.
