Lisa Marie and Preston have known each other for a while. Like, since they were 13 kind-of-while. 

8th grade prom dates :)

Teenage years have their ups and downs, their fun times, parties, and romance; along with all of the other experiences and choices that make us who we are to become, and bring us where we are to be being years later.

Funny side note...Lisa Marie and Preston  ended up living 2 blocks away from each other and never, ever knew it. If I were watching this on a reality tv show (not that I watch them...I'm just saying...haha), guaranteed I would tune in every single episode to see if they were going to bump into each other at the store, at the gas station...somewhere. I mean seriously, how is that possible that they never ever did?  But yeah, no; they didn't.

It wasn't until years after they each lived lives apart that they reconnected, coming full circle. Old friends, yet brand new all over again. It's like your favorite broken in, supple, fits-you-like-a-glove leather jacket you've had forever and ever and ever...It just fits like a charm, and it feels like home.

Now, picking up where they left off, they decided to put down roots and bought a new home together; just weeks before the wedding. What a better place to exchange their vows, and to start (or in their case, re-start) their lives together?

Surrounded by family and good friends, and more sugar skulls than you could shake a stick at... these awesome kids put together a wonderful backyard celebration of love...REAL LOVE. I could not be more touched to have been a part of it. 

The weather did take a turn for a little while, and that's never a problem for me. I simply asked Lisa Marie what her favorite color was. She responded in an instant, "Lime Green!" We then proceeded to turn that rain on its ear and have a little fun.
