Meg & Steve - New Hope, PA Engagement Session at Nina's Waffles & Nektar

I have too many reasons to be excited.

1) Don't you just love it when your friend (who's also a photographer) loves your work so much that they refer you to be their sister-in-law's wedding photographer?  I know I do!

2) I have LOVED New Hope, PA ever since I was 10 years old. Guess where the wedding will be? Yep!  New Hope's own Nektar. If you haven't sampled from their extensive small (and not-so small) plates inspired menu, or enjoyed a cocktail in the breeze when they open wide the front wall to colorful Mechanic Street, you are seriously missing out.
We spent the first part of our evening sharing stories, jokes, and food. To be exact...we talked about what it's like to be challenged by all things incendiary like the weather AND Ghost Chiles; all while sampling Korean Fried Wings, Crab & Avocado Bruschetta, Beef Filet Tip Flatbread, and a Truffle Hamburger.

3) These kids...Meg & Steve...are fun...so much FUN! You think I'll just say that about anybody. You think blogs are all fluff and filler? Guess what? I have proof!
Scroll to the end to see the photos from the lighter side of our evening.

4) Nina's Waffles. Meg & Steve love it. I love it. I ventured inside to ask if we could take some fun photos. Guess what happened? Scroll down :)
If you haven't tried Nina's made-from-scratch Liege-style waffles; dude...just...dude.
I have not eaten anything this magical since I visited Belgium 20 years ago. It's all about the caramelization of the pearl sugar.  Next, top your waffle with any one of a hundred hand-crafted flavors of ice cream. You have now entered nirvana. Thank me later.

5) I got to spend the evening with my new friends, my latest bride and groom to-be; in my favorite town of all, eating, laughing, capturing moments, and loving every single second of it.

Are you, or is someone you know planning a wedding? Do you want to have as much fun as this all looks? Book me for your 2017-2018 wedding today.

Ok...here's that proof of how much fun we had. The laughs, the dancing, those faces!!!!. I can't take that much credit, though. Hams....Meg & Steve are totally hams; and I love it!
