Jamie & Michael's Woodland Fairytale Meets Industrial Themed Wedding at The Art Factory | Paterson, NJ | NJ NY PA Wedding Photographer

I never get tired of photographing Love Stories at The Art Factory. The industrial feel, the vibrant colors…it’s part playground, part feast for the eyes.
I’ll let the photos do the talking first. Enjoy the moments, candids, portraits, and memories; and then read all about the Love Story of Jamie & Michael at the bottom.

Jamie’s mother worked with Michael at her part time job. Jamie would go in and visit her mother, and Michael used to joke, insisting that Jamie would be his future ex wife one day! After seeing love in the making, Jamie’s mother set them up on a blind date and they’ve been in love ever since!

Jamie & Michael met at the young age of 19 and never expected that they would be meeting their soul mate so young. They’ve watched each other grow from basically naive children to strong, hard-working adults. They put in the time and effort it takes to build a solid foundation and we've been thriving ever since!

What keeps them together is honesty. They are open and honest about everything they think and feel. If something isn't working for their relationship, they take the time to talk about ways that they can change it for the better.

Jamie & Michael love to entertain and be outside! In the summer, they are constantly having pool parties with friends and family. They also enjoy being out on the boat often with Jamie’s parents. They love to travel near and far, and are always looking for new adventures from hiking to seeing the world!

After their wedding at The Art Factory, they honeymooned in Jamaica. They spent their days lounging on the beach, sightseeing, hiking, visiting waterfalls, and trying to pet all of the stray cats that they could find. It sounds like my kind of honeymoon!

They plan to have a child sometime in the near future, yet for now, they have 3 beautiful cats (Mazey, Mayhem & Flo) at home that are spoiled beyond belief.

Jamie & Michael tell me that honestly, after 10 years, not much has changed; and that’s a great thing! Yes, they purchased a home together before we got married, but in all honesty they have just spent their time enjoying life together. When it works; it works!

They chose The Art Factory for the unique aspects they had to offer. Their guests loved all of the industrial elements intertwined with the soft wedding decor.

Here’s a fun side-note. Jamie was surprised to find that her favorite part of the day was dancing at the reception. “I don't think that I have ever danced that much in my life!”

Other really fun parts would include their first look. “Our friend surprised us with a blue French horn which was awesome because we are huge How I Met Your Mother fans!”

Her last statement really says it all…”Spending the day with our loved ones was amazing, and it really reminded us how lucky we are to share our lives with such incredible and loving people!”
