PAFA Wedding of Kristin & Tom - Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

When Kristin & Tom planned their recent springtime wedding, they had a vision. They knew they wanted to capture the feel of the city. City Hall is such an iconic landmark that we knew we had to incorporate that somehow; and buy did we! Scroll through to see the famous City Hall as a backdrop both during the day and at nighttime.

They also knew they wanted to be surrounded by the art, the paintings and sculptures, and the history at The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. PAFA is a museum and art school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1805 and is the first and oldest art museum and art school in the United States.

What better surroundings to celebrate a picture perfect romance? Incorporating the mood, the archways, the architecture, and the centuries of artwork was one of the most rewarding opportunities I’ve been given as a wedding photographer. Kid, meet candy shop. Honest. But this isn’t about me, this is about the love, the moments, and the memories.

Scroll to see the laughter, the tears, the fun, and the larger than life love!

As always, thank you to my team, Gerardo & Barry; whose efforts led to contributing a couple key photos you’ll see in this gallery.
